Total Apex Sports is a sports publishing platform covering multiple leagues, fixtures, scores, standings and news categories. Its operator managed several sports-related websites and needed reliable development, performance work and ongoing technical maintenance across the network.
Codgenic worked with the client over a six-month period covering five websites. The work included building Total Apex Sports with a custom WordPress theme called totalapex, website optimisation and ongoing technical support.
This project required a publishing-friendly structure capable of presenting a large number of sports categories through clear navigation.
The Challenge Of Project
A content-heavy sports website must support frequent publishing across many leagues while keeping articles, categories and navigation usable. News readers need to find the teams and competitions they follow without moving through confusing page structures.
On the technical side, image-heavy pages, large category archives and recurring updates can create performance and maintenance challenges. The client also required dependable support across a portfolio of five websites.

Process & Results
We developed Total Apex Sports on its custom theme and created a broad category structure for league-specific publishing. This helped organise a high volume of sports content into recognisable sections for readers.
WP Rocket caching and wider optimisation work were implemented to support load performance on content-heavy pages. During the six-month client relationship, Codgenic also handled maintenance, fixes and basic on-page SEO activities across five websites.
The resulting platform is live with multi-category sports navigation and an infrastructure supported by caching and ongoing maintenance work.
